Shape- A 2-dimensional(2D) or flat, enclosed space.

Geometric shapes such as circles, triangles or squares don't often appear in nature. Math based.
Organic shapes are typically irregular and associated with things from the natural world, like plants and animals.

MOSAIC- What is a Mosaic?
Mosaic is the art of creating images with a group of small pieces of colored glass, stone, or other materials.
The earliest known examples of mosaics made of different materials were found at a temple building in Ubaid, Mesopotamia, and are dated to the second half of 3nd millennium BCE. They consist of pieces of colored stones, shells and ivory.

Steps:
- Find your reference image
- Put on doc for me to print
- Sketch basic shapes or use light box to trace it
- Start looking for colors you need in magazines
- Use the glue pen to glue small pieces of magazine as your mosaic tesserae

Once you have chosen the image you want to recreate, redraw it using only basic shapes. You don't need small details since they wont be in the final piece anyways.

After that, you will use cut up magazines or color paper to fill in the shapes you have drawn. Try to match the color as much as possible. Each piece should be no larger than your fingernail.
