Shutter speed assignment- Part 2
Shutter speed is ‘the amount of time that the shutter is open’
Part 2- On or Off-Campus AWESOME photos!!!
4 photos total-
2 photos- Motion Blur
check out this site- its has some cool tips
Set the camera on either manual and set the shutter speed and aperture OR use the setting Tv(Canon) or S(Nikon) this allows you to control the shutter speed with the top dial and the camera will decide the right aperture for the correct exposure.
Remember that to blur motion you need a “slow” shutter speed, how slow depends on what exactly you are taking a picture of and how close you are to the subject. If something is coming directly at you it will most likely not blur unless you shoot very slow.
A word of caution: remember that if you are handholding a shot, 1/60 is the slowest you should have it set without a tripod or some style of stabilization (bench, table, fence etc…)
2 photos- Motion Freeze
Same setting as above use Tv(Canon) but set the shutter speed fast to freeze motion. You have to choose a subject that is obviously moving in order for it to show that you have frozen the motion.
